Certified Yoga Instructor
When we learn yoga and meditation, we discover strength in ourselves that we didn't realize we had. All of us have experienced traumatic events and unsettling times in our lives. I’ve spent many days searching for ways to heal the various traumas of my life. Traditional yoga, outdoor yoga, paddle board yoga, beach yoga, meditation, freestyle dance, and most recently, hula hooping have given me tools to cope. These practices continue to play a huge role in my own healing journey.
I found yoga as a tool for stress management during college, which began my lifelong yoga practice. I've practiced and studied with a series of seasoned yoga masters over the last twenty years. I've been inspired by many international yogis and some of the world's best meditation and mindfulness practitioners.
I earned a 500+ hour yoga teaching certification in 2014, as well as Paddle Board Guide and Hula Hoop Coach certification over the following ten years. I also earned advanced certification in the eight limbs of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Chair Yoga, Yoga for Seniors, Prenatal Yoga, Yin Yoga, Aerial Yoga, and Thai Yoga Massage, along with the Indian heritage and evolving health traditions of Ayurveda.
Yoga, movement, and meditation bring excellence to my days, and I love sharing these practices with the Parrish community and surrounding areas.
